This year's information quality and knowledge conference was held on the 3rd of December 1999 at the mcm institute in St. Gallen.

The overall topic of this year's event is " Researching Information Quality - Information Quality in Research." It will focus on interdisciplinary aspects

of Information Quality research and on quality criteria for scientific information, thus combining content and methodology in quality research.

The following topics will be covered in the presentations and subsequent discussions:

1. Knowledge Quality: Practical and Scientific Criteria

2. Researching Data Quality: Methodologies and Criteria Sets

3. Service Quality and Phenomenological Epistemology

4. Information Quality in the Context of Internet and Intranet

5. Information Quality in the Context of University Education
